Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
Approach
Do you appear to “have it all together,” but inside have a constant feeling of inadequacy,
with a critical inner voice whispering to you that you’re never good enough? Have you tried
talk therapy before and gained understanding of your issues, but not felt any real change in
your life? Talk therapy might not go far enough to heal trauma and change limiting patterns.
That’s why I believe in using a mind/body approach. Combining your rational thoughts with
body-based processing can help you go deeper and rewire your limiting patterns and beliefs
from the inside out.
I’m glad you’re here, and I would be honored to help guide and support your healing
process. My personal and professional experience has shown me the incredible
transformation possible through mind/body therapy, and I believe with the right support you
can release the burdens of the past and gain a sense of balance and empowerment.
Experience
My training includes techniques from Mindfulness, Somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems,
and traditional psychotherapy. I also practice Brainspotting, a trauma-processing therapy similar
to EMDR that allows clients to process and release a wide range of emotional and body-based
conditions. This holistic approach to therapy will support you in letting go of old limiting patterns
and working towards new goals.
With specialized training in Transpersonal counseling, I enjoy helping clients connect to their
sense of purpose and meaning. I also bring a social justice awareness that welcomes and
celebrates all identities. I believe that we are never alone in our struggles, and a transpersonal
approach invites us to see our struggles from a broader, more compassionate and inspiring
perspective.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa
University, and I am also a certified Psychosynthesis Life Coach
