Counseling Intern

Approach

As a holistic mental health therapist, I see you as a whole person — your mental health challenges are not all that define you. You also have unique strengths, forms of resilience, and inner wisdom. I look forward to working with you to uncover and develop that inner strength and wisdom, as a means of both healing existing pain and creating new pathways towards the life you want.

Experience

As a graduate student of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University, I offer a combination of mindfulness-based techniques and traditional psychotherapy that help you connect with your body, calm your nervous system, and feel grounded in the present moment. This holistic approach to psychotherapy will support you in letting go of old limiting patterns. We will work together to cultivate inner resources and self-compassion, while focusing on the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.

With specialized training in Transpersonal counseling, I help clients connect to their sense of purpose and meaning. I also bring a trauma-informed lens, and a social justice awareness that welcomes and celebrates all identities. I believe that we are never alone in our struggles, and a transpersonal approach invites us to see our struggles from a broader, more compassionate and inspiring perspective.
